Is it possible to have a lean condition on both banks if I have a leaky valve cover gasket on just one bank ?

So I’ve replaced this module, fuel pump and the fuel pressure sensor. Still having same issue. When I changed the fuel pump it ran great for a half a block and died

How did you torque spec it if you didn’t use the torque wrench in there ?

An easy 6 hours job! 4 hours to try to find this $&?%* 10mm socket 1.5 hours to go to the nearest hardware store to buy a damn 10mm socket, and back 20 minutes to do the job 10 minutes to clean up and crack a beer!

Literally all you have to do is get a 19mil wrench on it, nothing needs to come off the car.

They said 0449 is usually a gas cap issue. My understanding is that a 0442 (small leak) is usually a gas cap issue. 0449 points to the evap solenoid.

About to do this on my ‘11 Impala. Gave my daughter the “service traction control” and “service stabilitrak” warnings. Took to to a place to read the codes, and they came up with replacing the accelerator position sensor. Thanks for the walkthrough on this!

Had you guys been troubleshooting a cooling issue on this same truck or something? I was just curious because I seen video of you guys replacing a water pump , thermostat & now a fan clutch.

Loosen the starter before you disconnect the connections.

Why do they all say drain the coolant?!?! When u pull the ild one, have the new one in hand and swap them real quick. Then purge n top off the very little coolant that got out!

Excellent information and teaching! Thank you for the great video! One little thing I am laughing about to myself as I watch the video is that for the sake of the viewer (Me lol) you've chosen a car with an O2 sensor right up front where it's the easiest thing to see, find, work on and possibly change out if needed. I want people to know though that almost all (obviously there are a few that are easy) are VERY difficult to find, reach and work on. 16:08 "This sensor is proving to be pretty easy to remove". Wow he sure said that right LOL. They are being VERY polite and smooth. In the real world 95% of the sensors you will have to remove will "prove to be" lol. Al LOT more difficult to remove. A LOT, LOT more difficult. They are so often only accessible from underneath the car and sometimes only through the wheel well or some other strange place very difficult to reach. Sorry for telling the bad news. But the facts are always better to know up front then finding out later when you're in the thick of it. Thanks again for the great video!

The 2006 Chevrolet Impala has a coolant capacity of 12.3 quarts for the initial fill. The type that should be used in the vehicle is orange Dex Cool; 50/50 diluted.

This isn't for all 2007 5,4 you have to remove the valve cover. This video needs to be edited to let people know. Totally sucked trying to get it out and finding out later. I couldn't do it this way....

lot of wrong information conveyed here. First of all, use a proper serpentine belt removal tool such as the one made by gear wrench. I need to play grams clipping wrenches together. Do it safe, do it correct, I don't put up videos describing how to do it wrong

Watched this whole video. Very good. But when I got under my 03 tahoe i didnt need to drop the drive shaft. There was just enough room to take the 15mm right to the old unit. Moved it into neutral by hand. New one slipped right in.. service 4x4 seems to be gone .
